This year's Hotter Than Hell Summertime Spectacular will be sponsored by Blackwood
Petfood, who have donated a year's supply of dog food for the winner* and our friends at Highland Pet Supply, who have provided some great prizes to sweeten the pot.
The contest will be held on Saturday, July 19 starting at 3 PM. There will be two disc dog events. Entry in both events will be free of charge.
The first event is an entry level competition in which the handler throws from the center of a circle in any direction for the dog. This is a really fun way for beginners to learn!
*the winner of the Double Shot will receive a year's supply of dog food based on a 40 lbs. dog eating 20 lbs of dry food a month. Six 40 lbs. bags of the winner's choice.

The second event will be the IDDHA Double Shot, the exciting multi-disc timed speed event which debuted at the 2007 IDDHA Championships.
Our field is in great condition this year. We have crate space available in our air-conditioned training room to keep the dogs cool (please bring shot records if you're interested.) Bring a chair and a way to water and contain your dog (i.e. leash, crate.) Handlers are welcome to bring EZ-ups and camping is allowed with prior notice. In addition, our 22' x 41' dock diving pool will be open for dogs and handlers.
