Atlanta Dogworks Provided Talent for One of the Most Memorable Scenes in "ATL"
"ATL - As four friends prepare for life after high school, different challenges bring about turning points in each of their lives."
In these days of statewide breed bans and dog attacks on the news, Greg Tresan was a little hesitant when his talent was called upon for the production of "ATL". After reading the script, Tresan realized that the scene dealt with two hot topics, pit bulls and the irresponsible care and handling of a dog. The protagonist, Marcus, is a drug-dealer and the worst kind of dog owner. The scene at Marcus's kennel with seven pit bulls is a pivotal point in the movie and also supports a strong anti-drug statement. Tresan appreciated that the scene is not meant to attract viewers to such a lifestyle, but to warn against it, and offer lessons on making the correct choices in life.
Atlanta Dogworks provided "ATL" seven kid-safe, set savvy, professionally trained American Pit Bull Terriers and four wranglers, and the final result is fabulous, one of the most memorable scenes in the movie.
